Sara Marjorie Johnston was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1995. She moved to Fort Myers, Florida with her mother at the age of seven. Johnston specializes in figurative painting, depicting interpersonal relationships. She is currently based in Orlando and recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a specialization in painting.

I paint the dualities of relationships including with oneself, by filling private spaces with multiple self-portraits. Through my paintings, I communicate my personal feelings and experiences with isolation, especially in the presence of others, and share the complexities of how I live as an independent woman.
